Two big players in wealth management technology announced at the annual Schwab IMPACT Conference this week that they will be integrating with Schwab OpenView Gateway, where advisors that custody with Charles Schwab can create their own cocktail of tools and service providers.
Fidelity’s eMoney Advisor, a wealth planning software company, announced Thursday it plans to integrate with the OpenView Gateway platform of Schwab Advisor Services, the largest custodian for independent financial advisors. The software company also announced new integrations with portfolio rebalancing and performance reporting software provider Envestnet | Tamarac and cloud content management leader Box.
All the integrations will be live in 2018, eMoney said in a statement, enabling users to securely transition between softwares, access shared data and improve their planning process with clients.
The three additional integrations make a total of 20 available with the eMoney platform, which has nearly 50,000 users and services 2 million end-clients.
Riskalyze, a risk analytics software company, also announced Thursday it was integrating its namesake and Autopilot products with the OpenView Gateway.
The two products will enable advisors to connect their account to Schwab’s platform and link clients between them. Advisors will also be able to update client data daily, including client profiles, accounts and balances, and have the ability to automate trade delivery with Autopilot’s One-Click Fiduciary technology.
Riskalyze CEO Aaron Klein said that to broaden the use of his company’s risk analytics, integration with Schwab is a natural step. “This is great news for advisors when it comes to syncing and automating accounts, all while acting in the best interests of each of their clients,” he said.
Like eMoney, the Riskalyze integrations will be available to users in 2018.
Charles Schwab’s annual IMPACT conference is attended by thousands of financial advisors and a common place–or timely week–for companies to make announcements.
