Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ price in India have been cut as part of Samsung’s Navratra Special Offer. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ prices have been cut by Rs. 4,000 – which should bring them down to Rs. 53,990 and Rs. 60,990 respectively. The company adds that HDFC Bank customers get a cashback of Rs. 4,000 in addition.
Notably, the updated prices are not showing on the company’s own online store yet. The price of the Samsung Galaxy S8+ 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant has also been reduced, by Rs. 1,000 – bringing the price down to Rs. 64,900. The Rs. 4,000 HDFC Bank cashback applies here as well. This is the most significant price cut for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ since their launch in India back in April. The 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy S8+ on the other hand has received two separate price cuts.
The price cuts on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are ahead of the festive season, and also ahead of the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which was launched in India last week. The Galaxy Note 8 is currently up for pre-orders in India, and starts shipping from September 21.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 price in India is Rs. 67,900, and the smartphone has been launched in its 64GB inbuilt storage variant. It will be available in its Maple Gold and Midnight Black colour variants.
