The Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the High School Certificate (HSC) and Senior School Certificate (SSC) 2017 examination dates on the official website, mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in.
Moreover, it is said that this year there has been a delay in announcing the examination dates.
Reasons for delay:
The delay has been caused due to the civic elections in various parts of the state as most of the polling booths are situated in schools.
Not only this, teachers are also deployed on election duties.
Examination schedule:
HSC: Tuesday, February 28, 2017 to Saturday, March 25, 2017
SSC: Tuesday, March 7, 2017 to Wednesday, March 29, 2017
Important note: The timetable for practical and oral examinations will be separately communicated to schools.
If any school has any query/objection to the declared timetable, the same should be communicated in writing within 15 days.
Also, boards has advised students not to refer to any private websites or printed leaflets to get the exam timetable. Last year about 40 students missed their HSC geography paper after they mistakenly followed the date and time schedule provided by a private computer class based in Yerawada.
