Amid facing criticism over some of the recently spotted issues, Google’s offline retail partners in India have kicked-off the Pixel 2 Festive Offer to sell the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XLat discounted prices, Gadgets 360 has learnt. The offer, which began on Wednesday and will run until Sunday, January 14, brings the Pixel 2 to an as low price as Rs. 49,999, while the Pixel 2 XL gets a discount of Rs. 11,001 and is available for Rs. 61,999. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were launched in last October with a starting price of Rs. 61,000.
The Google Pixel 2 Festive Offer is applicable through offline stores in India. Under the offer, the Pixel 2 64GB variant is available at Rs. 49,999, while the Pixel 2 128GB will be available at Rs. 58,999. The Pixel 2 XL 64GB variant will be available at Rs. 61,999, whereas the 128GB Pixel 2 XL will be available at Rs. 70,999. In addition to the limited-period discounts, the Pixel 2 XL is available with a cashback worth Rs. 10,000 on HDFC Bank credit card EMI transactions. An additional cashback worth Rs. 8,000 is similarly applicable to the Pixel 2 purchase. Moreover, there is no-cost EMI option for up to 12 months on select bank credit cards.
Alongside the monetary benefits, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL come with additional 120GB of Airtel data for six months under the new offer. Customers availing the data bundle need to recharge their prepaid connections with Rs. 549, while customers with postpaid Airtel connections need to opt for a monthly rental of Rs. 649 (Infinity Plan) or above. The data bundle will be activated through the My Airtel app.
Notably, this is not the first time when the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have received limited-period discounts. Last month, Google launched its ‘best buy’ offer to sell the Pixel 2 XL at Rs. 64,999. The company also brought a temporary price cut few weeks back that had made the Pixel 2 XL available with an effective price tag of Rs. 50,999. That price was applicable after receiving a cashback, though.
