Coolpad has expanded its range of Android smartphones with the launch of the Cool M7 in its home market. It is a mid-range offering that flaunts an all-metal unibody design and a fingerprint sensor integrated into its home button. The phone boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box with a new Journey UI on top.
The Coolpad Cool M7 features a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with Adreno 506 graphics and 4GB of RAM. The device comes with 64GB of expandable storage. The camera department includes a 12-megapixel rear snapper with f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and a Sony IMX362 sensor, and a 13-megapixel front shooter with f/2.2 aperture and a 79.8-degree field of view. The connectivity features of the Cool M7 include 4G, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, and GPS with GLONASS. The phone is powered by a 3,200mAh battery.
The Coolpad Cool M7 has been priced at RMB 2,699 (~Rs 25,900), and is up for grabs on Chinese e-tailer JD.com. It will go on sale in China from August 26th in Matte Black and Blue hues.
